My space is the new rave among teens and adults but do we really know what lies behind all the users? Sexual predators are to register where they live. This being a good thing but also making many of them desperate to interact with our precious children.

Many parents run on a very busy work schedule and aren’t able to monitor the Childs every move. The scary part about this is many older men post a picture of a younger attractive guy and call your kids attention.

There is a program out there called big brother. It monitors your Childs every move on the internet. Therefore it’s not a guessing game of where your children are when they are online.

It’s a scary thought but we live in a scary world. I had my own bad experience with MySpace. I got a message in my inbox from someone I had never spoken to and it said I should go to her page, that there would be something I liked on it. Out of curiosity I went to her page to find a banner running across with my Social Security number. I contacted MySpace which was of no assistance at all. They gave me a very generic response telling me to change my password. For the life of me I don’t know how she got my personal information. But just think how scary it is that our children can be fooled. Even worse we have to protect our children. And any child under the age of fifteen just has no place on a website like MySpace.

It’s just not a good idea to have our children searching a site that is a breeding ground for sexual predators. Its only a matter of time until one of our children could fall for an older mans kind words and compliments. Beware of where your children are. MySpace isn’t just there space its everyone’s!!
